The Controller role will oversee Reformation's accounting function. The primary responsibility of the Controller is to supervise and work with the accounting team to prepare timely and accurate financial statements. This includes the implementation, monitoring and upgrading of internal controls, preparation and analysis of operating reports for management, supervision of daily accounting operations and staff, and acting as the primary interface with outside CPAs. Given the growth trajectory, this role has a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization. What You'll Do:
Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate and timely financial reporting. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Reviews and ensures application of appropriate internal controls, audit compliance and financial procedures Oversees the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial reporting while working with FP&A closely and for internal and external reporting including to sponsors, lenders, landlords, and insurance carriers Work with outside providers to file local, state and federal tax returns and prepare year-end tax provisions Following the go live of the NetSuite implementation, liaise with technology team to incorporate additional enhancements Oversees the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies Reviews all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation Work towards goal to reduce close timing to 5 business days Leads efforts and communications with annual outside audit process Oversee bank and treasury operations Lead, direct and develop the accounting staff, including accounts payable What You'll need:
Bachelor's or Masters degree in accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Big Four or national accounting firm audit experience is preferred but not required In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP (SEC reporting nice to have) 10
years proven accounting experience Strong understanding of banking and treasury functions Experience managing financial projects (e.g.:
developing / implementing new accounting processes) Skilled people leader 3

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
